Kenako Establishes a Technical Unit.

Technical maintenance and support is a major challenge for many schools with ICT. Although government is trying its best, it does not always have the capacity to service schools timeously when they report technical problems. It happens many times that a school where we work experience technical problems. If the problem is not swiftly attended to, it impacts negatively on our productivity. For this reason we have decided to establish a technical unit. It will not only stand us in good stead, but also make a valuable contribution to sustainability in schools.

It is with great pride that we announce that Domingo van der Heyde will be heading our technical unit. He has many years of experience working in the technical division of the Centre for e-Innovation (CeI)(Metropole North). Domingo’s IT knowledge, expertise and experience of working in schools will contribute significantly to achieving the company’s goals and objectives.

We are launching our technical unit with a competition where a school can win a SLA (Service Level Agreement) worth R24 000. Clich here for more details.

Deidre Fortuin se ervaring tydens haar opleidings sessie in Pretoria 07/07/10

Opleiding: Reading Rocket - 'n Stimulus Maksima! Produk
Geskryf deur Deidre Fortuin

Vertrek op Dinsdag, 08 Junie 2010. Die opleiding geskied by Castle Getaway, 30 km, buite Pretoria. Met my aankoms op die lughawe, was ek ingewag deur 'n shuttle-service, wat my tot by die Stimulus Maksima! - kantoor geneem het. Daarvandaan het een van die vennote, nl. Hennie, my na Castle Getaway geneem.

Produkbestuur
Visie en Missie van Stimulus Maksima!
Verskillende produkte van SM!
˘ Steady Start
˘ Beginner's Booster
˘ ready to read
˘ Reading Rocket
˘ Maths Muncher
˘ Business Builder
˘ Entreperneurs' Elegance
˘ International Computer Driving License Bemarking

Reading Rocket (RR) was in diepte behandel.

Kenako awards 50 school fees bursaries Kenako Education Solutions has awarded 50 school fees bursaries to learners at 15 Western Cape schools to help cover school fees for 2009. Kenako provides schools with training and support to help them make the most of their investment in information and communication technology.

“ We help schools to optimise their computer rooms and related technology. However, at Kenako we do realise there is more to education then just computer technology. We are pretty aware of the struggle many parents have to undergo give their children a decent education. We have decided to make a contribution to this course in the way of 50 bursaries to pay for children’s school fees. This contribution might be small, but hopefully significant enough to contribute towards the upliftment of education in the Western Cape,” said Christo Davids, head of Kenako Education Solutions.

“We have contacted various schools and asked them to identify children that deserve support based on their academic potential and financial circumstances. We believe that the learners who have been nominated are worthy recipients of the Kenako Bursary Awards. We want learners to benefit directly from the training we provide to their teachers.”

Kenako provides computer literacy training for teachers and administrative staff. “We also help schools to implement ICT skills in the class room, and to ensure that their investment in ICT delivers the expected returns in terms of curriculum delivery and streamlined management.”The learners that received bursaries come from the following schools: Atlantis School of Skills, Bishop Lavis High School, Delft Primary School, Filia, Marian RC High, Nerina Primary School, Peak View Secondary, Range Secondary Riebeeck Street Primary, Robinvale High, Rosendaal Secondary, St Andrews Secondary School, Saxonsea Primary School, Symphony Secondary School and Winsley Primary.
